Why I Decided to Create a Blog in 2026 (When Nobody Reads Anymore?)

In 2026, the age of AI, TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and increasingly shorter, ephemeral, and superficial content… why would anyone create a blog?

Below, discover the reasons that led me to create a blog, and perhaps ones you should consider too:

Why I Decided to Create a Blog in 2026 (When Nobody Reads Anymore?)

First and foremost, I felt the urgency to record in a safe environment all of my learnings, books I’ve read, courses I’ve taken, and experiences I’ve lived. There’s enormous value when we revisit our history and have records—not just photographs and videos, but records of our thoughts and feelings. I believe writing is the best channel for this.

Moreover, by documenting my journey, I’ll leave for the future a part of my story that my grandchildren, great-grandchildren will be able to access.

Today I find myself confronted with absence: not knowing much about the history of my grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents who are no longer here. Who they were, what they went through, how they dealt with their fears and doubts, what their achievements were, how they lived… These are questions I ask myself, but I don’t have the answers.

2. Serving People With What I Learn

The second reason: serving people with what I’ve learned or am learning. It makes no sense to discover wonderful things that have the power to transform a life and keep them only for myself and my loved ones.

You too can create a blog to be a powerful instrument for spreading transformative knowledge.

3. A Space to Slow Down

The third reason: in an increasingly superficial world where all content is consumed quickly and people are becoming more and more rushed, I believe that pausing here to read a text creates a place of rest.

When reading a text, your brain will have to slow down. Beyond that, I want to write about life’s fragments in depth and in a way that causes reflection, and perhaps, transformation. We cannot be slaves to this world.

4. A Tool to Organize My Mind

The fourth and final reason: writing is something I love to do and haven’t taken time to dedicate myself to in a long time—partly because of this “frantic rush” we’re conditioned to live in.

When I write, my mind also quiets down, clarity comes, and the meaning and reason for learning things becomes clear: to serve. Writing transports us to our own history, which serves as a bridge to other people’s stories, and that is very beautiful.

Next Steps

I hope that each reading slows you down from this increasingly fast world, awakens you to become your most evolved version, wiser, more productive, more connected with yourself and with the Creator… You are very welcome!
